Fright Night (2011) - 34A.
Mclovin as a vampire? The fuck? Well that could certainly ruin anything. Especially an ok movie.
I realized early on that I’m getting too old to enjoy movies that focus on high school kids. I hate the youth. The way they talk, look, act, etc. But the movie was still ok. Cheesy and lame at times but ok.
And then Mclovin was a vampire and I just wanted to go to bed. From that point on the movie was awful. I’m not a remake hater. This was just a terrible movie.
If you don’t know the plot it goes like this. People are disappearing. Turns out a vampire moved in next door. Blah blah.
This movie did have a cool cameo and Colin Farrell was actually a pretty good vampire. Question about vampires though. What happened to the basic two fanged types? Nowadays we see a lot of piranha sharky mouthed, multi-fanged goons. What’s up with that?
