I wanted to walk out about 3 minutes into this movie. Let me first explain something. O (Blake Lively) narrates about 1/3 of this movie. It’s beyond annoying. At about 3 minutes in there is a very aggressive sex scene between Chon (Taylor Kitsch) and her. She’s narrating.
O: Chon is always trying to fuck the war out of him. I have an orgasm. He has a wargasm.
Yep. She really said that. I guess Oliver Stone was in the bathroom when this scene was being filmed. There was another gem a few minutes later.
O: Ben is a Buddhist. Chon is a baddist.
Huh? Holy shit this movie was terrible. So why a B? I don’t know honestly. I liked a couple parts. I was cringing by the end. And it doesn’t end. I think there was maybe 4 different endings. It just keeps going.
As for the movie? It’s not really what the trailer makes it look like. I thought it was going to be an action packed, revenge type movie. Some of it was. Most of it wasn’t.
Aaron Johnson has grown up a lot since Kick-Ass. He’s all manly and stuff.
I have a headache. I got up early and went for a pretty decent bike ride but I blame this movie.

By the time the eighth movie trailer started playing I forgot what movie I was there to see in the first place. Let’s talk about some of those.
Savages - Looks good. Olive Stone makes pretty awesome movies. Sometimes. Benicio Del Toro as a villain. That Spanish gal with the huge tits and horrible grasp of the English language as another villain? Not Sofia Vergara. The other one. Two handsome, ripped pot-dealers who go on a revenge killing spree? I like it.
Frankenweenie - Not a remake? A Tim Burton movie where Johnny Depp’s mouth isn’t attached to Burton’s dick? Interesting.
House At The End Of The Street - Are you fucking kidding me?
The Watch - The red band trailer was funny. I always feel bad for that fourth dude. Every advertisement is Jonah Hill, Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller star in…
Total Recall - I don’t hate remakes. Some I actually like better than the originals. I’m not sure how I feel about this one though.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - I think this is going to be fantastic. I’m reading the book now and it’s great. People that are talking shit about this movie should shut up. It’s a movie about Abraham Lincoln killing vampires. It will not be an Oscar winner.
Prometheus. I loved it. It was shot beautifully. It was smart, dark and creepy. I didn’t think the end made any sense. Then I read some stuff and it made sense. Then I read some more stuff and it didn’t make sense. Now I don’t really know what made sense and what didn’t.
I’m going to see it again. Soon.
