The Pact - 34C.
It’s unfortunate that this movie had some stupid and silly parts in it because it had the potential to be one of the best horror movies I’ve seen in a long time.
It starts with a phone call between two sisters. One is trying to get the other to come home because their mother just died and they have to take care of the house. The sister doesn’t want to come home. She ends up vanishing so the sister has to come home. Then the sister’s friend vanishes. The police think she’s involved.
There was a scene in the first 5 minutes that scared the bejeezus out of me. Not in a cheap horror movie, loud noise type of way. Just a kind of ohhhh boy what the fuck kind of way.
I was bummed. It was great then pretty lame then cool then lame. When you actually see what’s going on it’s such a great idea but by now you’ve kind of lost interest because the movie just wasn’t that good.
Regardless of my complaints this is still a must see for any horror fan.
