In Time - 34B.
The third line of this movie is “it is what it is”. That is one of my least favorite sayings along with just saying… and any kind of abbreviation (smh makes me really angry for some reason).
So I definitely wasn’t looking forward to this movie. Alas, it was good. I loved it. I thought it was a great concept and just an all around good movie. And then about a half hour into it that all changed. I don’t know if it was Emma Stone being just awful or the lame futuristic robin hood scenario or what. But this movie started to suck.
You all saw the preview. It’s the future. Time is money. Literally. Once you hit 25 a clock on your arm starts ticking down. You can spend time, lose time, steal time, etc. Kind of like Logan’s Run. Well, not really. In that movie your life is over at 30. While googling that info I found out that Nicolas Winding Refn (the guy who directed Drive) will be remaking it. Starring none other than Mr. Gosling. According to imdb that’s not until 2013 or 2014 though.
